Requirements

  1. Applicants must be 18 years and over at the course commencement.
  2. Applicants must ensure that all documentary requirements are submitted before the closure of the application date.
  3. Applicants must ensure that all statutory declarations are correctly filled out if parents are unemployed.
  4. Applicants must declare if he/she was previously sponsored under TSLS.
  5. Applicants must ensure that there are proper signoffs from the provincial councils.
  6. CATD is required by its by-laws to ensure that all 14 provinces and Rotuma is represented in any cohort of students.

Important Note: You will be required to sit an Aptitude Test after submitting your documents

Required Documents Checklist

Birth Certificate (Copy)

To verify your exact age (must be 18-35) and legal identity.

Joint Card / TIN Letter

Required for student administration and potential allowance processing.

School Report / Exam Certificate

To prove you have completed Year 10 (Forms 3/4) and are academically ready for the technical theory.

6 Passport Photos

Used for your Student ID card and official student records.

2 Payslips OR Statutory Declaration

To verify household income. If your parents are employed, attach their recent payslip. If your parents are unemployed, a Statutory Declaration is needed to support funding applications (like TSLS).

Mpaisa/Bank Statement

To verify the account number provided in Section A is active and belongs to you.

Curriculum Vitae (CV)

To show your history of community work (the 2-year requirement) and any previous experience.

Confirmation of Application

Once you have submitted your application, QRC will acknowledge receipt of your application by phone or email within two working days.

Application Review

QRC will review your application to confirm you meet our requirements. If so, you will then be asked to complete an interview as part of the review process.

Payment of Fees

We will issue an invoice for the balance of your first year tuition fees, due prior to the commencement date. On payment of this invoice you will be issued with a receipt of payment.
